When COVID shut campuses overnight, thousands of MAHE students were stuck at home with their entire lives still in hostel rooms across Manipal. One MIT Manipal alumnus started packing and shipping those rooms back to their owners — carefully, honestly, with photos of every step. That little operation was called Get My Bagasi.
Word spread the way it still does today: one relieved family telling another. Four-plus years later, Get My Bag has moved more than 12,000 customers — students, families, and everyone in between — and 82% of them still come to us through word of mouth. The name got shorter.
